We’re thrilled to recognize Shenzhen LVDA Technology Co., Ltd. for achieving the Highest Scoring Design Project for iCity Hong Kong - Macau (Henqin) Development!

Located in Hengqin, Zhuhai, China, award-winning iCity consists of an exhibition hall, four high-rise multi-tenant office buildings sitting atop a commercial podium, and a corporate office building, creating a cultural and creative hub of high-tech and natural elements. The iCity team, with the support of Fitwel Ambassadors from Shenzhen LVDA Technology Co., Ltd., including one of this year’s Top Ambassadors, Yongqing Lyu, pursued Fitwel Certification as the way to achieve their healthy building goals in 2022 and have since succeeded in achieving Best in Building Health.

What Fitwel strategies did you pursue?
YL: The top strategies we pursued included an outdoor fitness area, a restorative garden, signs to promote the usage of stairs, safe lighting at the entrances and exits, and indoor air quality management.

How have you seen Fitwel positively impact the property's occupants?
YL: Since the property was certified in February 2022, the iCity management team has received positive feedback on various strategies, such as accessible on-site fruit and vegetable gardens,emergency preparedness plans, newly installed incentive stair signs to increase stair usage, and handwashing signs to improve handwashing behavior. This attention to detail is the key to unlocking the door to health. Obtaining Fitwel Certification is the first step in the iCity management team's efforts to support employee health as we continue to improve the workplace experience and in turn, promote employee happiness and a sense of belonging.
