Translating Health to Value

For the first time, we’ve overlayed our extensive health research and financial data to identify strategies that have the greatest impact on stakeholders and asset value. Introducing FSP, Fitwel’s Scale Certification for 100% of assets.

Strategies are organized across six Targeted Outcomes, established through a year-long exploration of the evidence-based relationship between health-promoting built environment interventions, resiliency measures, and financial value.

  • This outcome features metrics to evaluate how successfully a project and/or portfolio is addressing core environmental health hazards, including air quality, noise, water quality, maintenance, and other hazards.

  • This outcome features metrics to evaluate how successfully a project and/or portfolio is mitigating and adapting to the challenges posed by climate change and other emergencies and disasters.

The initial pilot of Fitwel Scale Certification (FSP) was led by Fitwel Leadership Advisory Board (LAB) members, including BGO, Harrison Street, Hudson Pacific Properties, Lendlease Americas, PGIM, QuadReal Property Group, and Vornado Realty Trust, and expanded to a larger pilot cohort, including, Barings, Kayne Anderson Real Estate, Fabrix, and others.
