Highest Scoring Viral Response Module
Project: The Stock Exchange of Thailand, Bangkok, Thailand
Consultant: SCG Building and Living Care Consulting
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) office is a prominent landmark in one of Bangkok's fastest-growing commercial business districts. This award-winning Fitwel Certified project emerged as a trailblazer in the realm of health and well-being in 2020 by becoming the first project to achieve Fitwel’s highest rating of 3 stars, marking a historic achievement for Asia. Since then, SET has won multiple Best in Building Health awards, obtained certification for Fitwel's Viral Response Module, and maintained a 3-Star Rating in 2022. SET was recognized for maintaining the Highest Scoring Module once again, thanks to the dedication and commitment of both property teams and SCG Building and Living Care Consulting (SCG).

What strategies were used at SET to achieve Fitwel Certification?
TL: Among the many strategies we implemented were a restorative garden, a fruit and vegetable garden, a ground-floor courtyard to promote exercise, socialization, and mental health, a free on-site fitness center, policies for optimal indoor air quality, and a public outdoor garden space.
How have you seen Fitwel positively impact occupants and the surrounding community?
TL: Fitwel is a valuable tool for enhancing SET's occupants' and the surrounding community's well-being. The health-promoting strategies within the Standard help us create healthy, trustworthy environments that benefit everyone. That is why we are committed to pursuing Fitwel building certifications for our properties.
What does Best in Building Health mean to you?
KK: Receiving Best in Building Health recognition indicates how much we value our building’s visitors and employees. As SET is a key organization in the Thai capital market, our building welcomes many dignitaries, key industry players, daily visitors, as well as our employees. This prestigious award confirms our effort in promoting occupant health, which is the foundation of our sustainable work environment.
